Over the weekend, families from all over Tennessee and beyond helped move in Belmont University’s freshmen class. Perhaps you’re one of those freshmen whose persevering through Orientation Week and settling into the routine of classes. On Sunday afternoon I spent several hours with students at the University Church Fair passing out information about Belmont UMC where I pastor and Belmont Wesley Fellowship. During this first week of class, there are several other opportunities on campus to meet the student leaders of BWF and get involved in our upcoming events.
Wednesday, August 22nd (9-11)-In Neely Black and White dining hall, there is an opportunity to worship and then meet the various Faith Development Organizations on campus. Morgan and Anna, two BWF student leaders, will be there looking forward to meet you and tell you more about the life of BWF.
Thursday, August 23 (6-8)-On Thursday afternoon, the BruinkLink Fair will also take place in Neely Dining Hall. It’s just another opportunity to meet the leaders of BWF and sign up for our first mission/service opportunity on Friday night at Nashville Rescue Mission.
Friday, August 24th (5-8)–The students of BWF are serving dinner and providing hospitality at the Nashville Rescue Mission. The Nashville Rescue Mission is a program that provides food, shelter, and clothing to those who are homeless in Nashville. To sign up, email Adam at firstname.lastname@example.org
