Project Transformation Tennessee 2013

‘Behold, I am doing a new thing!’ These words of the prophet Isaiah capture the life changing ministry that is taking place through Project Transformation Tennessee. Project Transformation Tennessee is an eight week long summer day camp experience that is hosted by young adults. The purpose of the program is for young adult interns to lead reading camps for underserved children in the Nashville area , in partnership with United Methodist site churches.

During the summer of 2012, 24 young adult interns served over 220 Nashville children and youth through the day reading camps. Several Belmont University students including Morgan Stafford and Drew Lamb served as interns in this life-changing ministry. With the help of partner congregations, Project Transformation helped those 220 children and youth read over 4,006 books this past summer.
