End of Semester Blessing

When the library is packed and you can’t find any good, quiet place to study, may you be led by still waters and into green meadows.

When the coffee, tea, and soda can’t hold you up anymore, may you hear the words of the One who says ‘Come to me, all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.’

When stress and papers make you short with roommates and loved ones, remember, ‘The Lord is my light and my salvation; the Lord is the stronghold of my life.’

And when the papers are done, the exams graded, and you’re resting from a long semester, hear these Advent words: “Christ shall come down like showers upon the fruitful earth; love, joy, and hope like flowers, spring in his path to birth.”
